They would not see any of those cities either.Inside the jungle there were huge rivers and lakes. One remarkable thing about them was that they were fully covered by those trees. (Again, up from the sky, no one would notice those lakes and rivers or they might see only some parts of them here and there.)Apparently those trees were very old and very strong. They have been living there for thousands of years and they were still young and fresh. They were still growing. It appears that those lakes and rivers were formed a longtime after those trees have grown fully.Besides, they were not normal. They were very special trees.How special were they? Well, if you and I look at those trees, we would see some huge holes in their trunk. What would you think? Well, I don’t know about you, but I would think that those are regular trunk holes. That would be a mistake.Those trunk holes were very special. They seem bigger from outside. If you go inside (I wouldn’t recommend you to go inside as it may be scary since it was scary to me) and look at the inner walls of those holes, you would notice several holes in them.Apparently those were tunnels. They were small, hallow, tube-like tunnels. They began from the trunk holes and ended up as teeny tiny holes in the top branches.The inner sides of these tunnel tubes have been made up of a shiny material. They bring the sunlight from up above the branches to the bottom. They were very special because of this.So, when it was sunny outside, these goblin cities would also be pleasantly bright. The trunk holes acted as light bulbs even though the cities were totally covered by the branches and leaves on the top. There was enough brightness during the day time for the goblins to live and work.Those tunnels also brought the clean and fresh air from up above the jungle. This made them to be very special. On top of being just special, this fresh air circulation made life much easier for the goblins.(Now to Goblinwoods)The city, Goblinwoods, was surrounded by some of those lakes and rivers. Some goblins called it an island. The goblins who lived there were hard working and peace loving goblins. We can say that Goblinwoods was a nice and a peace loving city.However, not all the cities under that jungle were as nice as Goblinwoods. Some were very bad. One among them was Burglinsville.Burglinsville was located right next to Goblinwoods. It was not a good place for a good goblin to live. Most goblins who lived in there were pirates and burglars. They were called Burglins.Let us come back to our little goblin.Our little goblin, Boglin, did not like to go to bed at 8:00 in the night. Instead he would prefer to go out and play with his friends in the park outside.Generally, at 8:00, it would be dark, but the park would be somewhat busy with some elderly goblins. They always gathered there and relaxed a little bit. They would chat, sing, and even play.Boglin and his friends wanted to do that too. Instead, they were always asked to go to their bed by their parents. It was a rule.One day, Boglin suggested a plan to his friends. That they would all sneak out of their beds and go out to the park to play. Everyone agreed joyously.Soon, that day came....
